France describes the return of State subsidies to national car makers

The Government of France describes the return of State subsidies to national car makers. In particular, this will help the company Renault, which, according to the edition of the Financial Times, suffering serious losses. 
“We are carefully studying the idea. The proposal affects the interests of the national car industry. A full analysis of the situation”, - said Minister of industry of France Arnaud Montebur.
As we have informed, in 2009, the Government of France provided companies Renault and Peugeot-Citroën soft loans amounting to six billion Euros. Thus, the State helped car makers overcome the post-crisis syndrome and stabilize sales figures. 
Current difficulties in the global car market is experiencing and Peugeot. According to the source, the company plans to reduce the number of jobs and sell some of its assets.
