AC Schnitzer Raptor – The Fastest Mini in History

AC Schnitzer Raptor â€" The Fastest Mini in History

If not long ago I said that Mini JCW GP was the fastest in the history of the British manufacturer, I take that back, and now I say that AC Schnitzer Mini Predator is the fastest. Even if it is not a production model of the manufacturer from the UK, Predator is based on the JCW Coupe.

Engine power increased from 211 hp to 300 hp, an impressive amount for a car with front wheel drive. Increase of 89 horsepower thanks to a new turbocharger, the engine control unit and an upgraded stainless steel exhaust system more efficient. In addition to changes in the propeller, the German tuner installed a clutch of competition, a limited slip differential and increased handling.

The result was amazing. AC Schnitzer Predator won on Hockenheim circuit in a time of one minute and 11.6 seconds, with only 0.8 seconds slower than Pagani Zonda F and with 0.4 seconds faster than Ferrari 599 GTB. German tuner claims that Predator is used only as a technical platform and will not be sold.
