March 21, 2012 - Des Plaines, IL - URISA’s GISCorps was recently honored with a 2012 President’s Volunteer Service Award on behalf of the President of the United States for ‘making a difference through volunteer service’. The Award is given to individuals, families, and groups that have demonstrated outstanding volunteer service and civic participation.
