Sometimes being rich and famous can really backfire, can’t it Justin Bieber?
The teen heartthrob was the victim of two separate crimes on Tuesday evening – a 911 ‘SWATing’ prank and a burglary while on his Believe Tour.
The 18-year-old took to Twitter to lash out at the anonymous thief who stole his computer, camera and other personal items whilst he was performing on stage.
Tweeting that ‘people should respect other’s property’, Justin said that he ‘had a lot of personal footage on that computer and camera and that is what bothers me most. #lame #norespect’.
But that was not all.
According to TMZ, the singer was then a victim of SWATting when a 911 caller used an app to falsely claim someone was waving a gun right next to Justin’s home.
It’s thought the cops not only checked out Justin’s house but also the homes of Romeo, Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian as they are all on the same star-studded block.
Officials told the Los Angeles Times that the message was delivered via a TTY device, typically used by the deaf to type text over the telephone.
Miley Cyrus and Ashton Kutcher have been recent targets of SWATting too.
