They haven't seen much of each other since divorcing, but Katy Perry and Russell Brand were reunited as they attended the same basketball game

They haven’t seen much of each other since divorcing, but Katy and Russell were reunited as they attended the Lakers season opener at the Staples Center.

It’s perhaps the first time they’ve shared any kind of public space since their split. 

For the record, the singer, who was with her dad Keith Hudson, and the TV host did not sit together – they were on opposite sides of the court, and according to E! News, there was no indication that they interacted. 

Also witnessing Kobe Bryant and the home team lose to the Dallas Mavericks, 99-91, courtside was David Beckham, Adam Levine, Jack Nicholson and Zac Efron. 

We’re betting Russ and Katy were pretty aware of each other’s presence! We wonder if they felt awkward…
