Justin Bieber is a distant cousin of fellow Canadians Ryan Gosling, Celine Dion and Avril Lavigne.

Genealogists at Ancestry.com say that Biebs and Ryan are 11th cousins once removed, Avril is 12th cousins once removed but Celine is the closest match as 10th cousins once removed.
And seeing as his laptop was stolen by a light-handed thief at a Washington concert, he won’t be checking the facts quite yet.
But 11th cousins once removed?
With huge distance between these stars, seems any family reunion would probably consist of the entire population of Canada.
