Ajay Devganwas born in Mumbai on April 2, 1967. His birth name is Vishal Devgan, and later came to know as Ajay Devgan. His parents are from Punjab. His father Veeru Devgan is a director and stuntman in Bollywood. His brother Anil Devgan is also a Film Director in Bollywood industry.
Ajay Devgan‘s height is 5’11. He started his acting carrier with Filmfare Best Debut award. The film was Phool Aur Kaante, and his role was opposite Amrish Puri. Many action films followed this. He did a comedy Ishq with Kajol. He married Kajol later.
He got national awrd for the film Zakham. Other notable hits are Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Company and Bhoot. The last two resulted from his association with Ram Gopal Verma.
He dated Kajol for 5 years and ended up marrying her on February 24, 1999. There is a rumour that he was dating Karisma Kapoor prior to that. Ther daughter Nysa was born in April 2003.
