Britney Spears can now concentrate 100 percent on her work, now that a Los Angeles judge has thrown out her ex-manager, Sam Lufti, case.
Lufti was on the losing side after Spears’ lawyers successfully argued that the 38-year-old had failed to prove his case after six solid days of testimony.
His stance was that Britney owed him unpaid managerial fees from her profits back in 2007. Up to 15 percent.
Lufti also claims that he was made a scapegoat for Britney’s much-publicized meltdown in Lynn Spears’ book, Through the Storm, which he claims made him depressed and suicidal.
But no dice.
The judge was reported to have said that she thought long and hard about the decision, and dismissing the case, was the right thing to do.
Britney’s parents are said to be delighted and feel it’s the right result.
Lufti on the other hand wants to appeal.
Britney probably won’t miss a beat and will continue to help draw viewers for X-Factor.
She probably never even lost a wink of sleep over the whole thing.
