Proving she was alongside champions, paralympian Ellie Simmonds and cyclist Victoria Pendleton also collected the same award.

Actress Emily Blunt opted for a much brighter look in a tangerine halter neck gown as she scooped the British Actor of the year Award. 

And fellow British actress Rosamund Pike stole the spotlight in a scarlet symmetrical gown.
