Britney Spears was just accused by her former manager Sam Lufti of being a serious drug user who’s erratic behavior could be blamed on amphetamines, and that she even shaved her head back in 2007 because she was paranoid that it contained traces of the illegal substance.
This scathing indictment came from Lufti’s lawyer during the opening argument in the defamation trail against Spears’ parents.
While it’s important to point out that these are currently just accusations, and no evidence of Britney’s alleged rampant drug use has been presented, it certainly can’t sit well for the star.
Lufti’s lawyer went on to claim that Sam came on to work for Britney back in July 2007 for 15 percent of her earnings and under the condition that she stay clean.
Even going so far as to bring in drug-sniffing dogs to search the house…which he says turned up a bag of crystal meth.
But it appears that Brintey’s parents are claiming that Sam was the culprit: crushing up pills in her food, hiding her cell phone, and encouraging paparazzi to follow her.
Spears herself has been excused from testifying or appearing during the court proceedings.
