Robin Gibb of Bee Gees Dies at Age 62

Robin Gibb has passed away after a long battle with cancer.

It is a sad day for music.

Bee Gees star Robin Gibb has died at the age of 62.

According to statement announced by the Gibbs family,
Robin passed away after a long battle with cancer and intestinal surgery.

Along with his brothers the Bee Gees helped define the
disco era, Robin’s pitch changing vibrato powered such hits as ‘Stayin Alive’
and ‘Night Fever’.

Robin and the Bee Gees had 9 number 1 U.S. hits, won 6
Grammys, and were inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame.

Robin also enjoyed more than 40 years of prominence as a
Bee Gee, solo artist, songwriter, and producer.

He will be missed.
