Coldplay is going for gold!
The British rockers have just been confirmed to perform
at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympics.
They are headlining the event, which has been titled
‘Festival of Flame’.
In a statement on Coldplay’s website, front man Chris
Martin revealed that the band is so happy to be involved, and that being asked
to perform is such a great honor.
We couldn’t think of a better band for this event,
Coldplay will definitely close out London 2012 in style.
